The BLESS Project is a student-driven community outreach initiative conducted annually in conjunction with Good Friday.

This year, we partnered with Kawan to participate in a community outreach, as well as conduct donation drive to raise funds and receive food donations for the organization. Kawan is an organization which reaches out to the street community of Georgetown, providing them with free breakfast and lunch three times a week. It also provides homeless people with a place of rest and to shower, and educates the street community about health, hygiene, and HIV prevention.

The students were divided into three teams: 2 teams to conduct donation drives at Armenian Street and Tesco Seri Tanjung Pinang, and a team was sent to Kawan Drop-in Centre in Love Lane to participate in a community outreach program. In total, the students raised RM 5,000 in monetary contribution and food supplies in aid of their community outreach program.

The BLESS Project Committee would like to thank everyone who supported the initiative.
